I studied art decades ago but after becoming a mom I stopped doing it. My kids are old enough now that they don’t need me as much and I’m running out of time to sharpen my skills.
I missed art tremendously, its a part of me and I cant live without it anymore.
I still lack understanding of anatomy, line, composition and color theory. There is “something” that separates a pretty good amateur work from a professional level piece. I cant describe it; if I could, I would probably be able to make that leap.
Im hoping Drawing Academy will help me make that leap, fill the gaps in my education and skills so that I can bring to life the images in my mind without the constrant restraint of not having enough skill and understanding. People should vote for me because I will use the opportunity to the fullest.
