Drawing is the foundation of all visual arts. They say a well painted painting is well drawn.

If you feel that you have some knowledge gaps in linear and aerial perspective, constructive drawing principles, golden proportions, rules of composition, and how to render tonal values, then the drawing course will be very helpful.

In the Web Art Academy, you will learn traditional oil painting techniques such as multi-layer, glazing, scumbling, dead colors, wet-on-wet alla prima, and so on.

If you are interested in creating realistic figurative artworks, then Anatomy Master Class is one of the best resources online that gives comprehensive, yet easy to follow instructions on human body, head and face anatomy and proportions. It also provides useful tips for drawing human figures and portraits from life, memory and imagination.

All of those disciplines are part of the must-have art education. With missing parts, your art skills would not be complete.

Just to give you an idea of how art education has to be structured, I will say few words about the first art school I attended at age of nine. For 5 years, I studied for 4 hours a day, 5 days a week on the following subjects: drawing, painting, sculpture, history of art, composition, and decorative arts. This was a very good foundation to continue onward with an art college and university, which took another 5 years each.
