Art Awakening

My mother always told me life starts at 50, and I believe that’s true. As I’ve gotten older, I am realizing how short life is, so I’m beginning to do the things that bring me the most happiness.
After lying dormant for over 50 years, my need to create has awakened! Painting and sculpting have become my joy!
I have taken a few art classes, but have a real passion to learn as much as I can and see if I can take my art to the next level. That’s why I’m entering your contest.
I think you are doing great things at the Academy and I would like to learn from you.

Your work is lovely and I think you would really enjoy the Drawung Academy course. If you don’t win a scholarship, please buy the program anyway! I am 57 and could have written the same paragraph you did! I have gotten so much out of the Drawing Academy program and feel you would also. Your work is right on track to what the course teaches and you will find it to be extremely useful! I was hoping to get the course free also but didn’t want to wait and purchased it instead. It was the best decision I ever made!
