Make a dream come true!

As a fifty-three-year-old man, I have always had a dream. My dream is the dream of learning to draw, like the masters. As a self-taught artist, I can draw simple and fun works of art, but nothing complicated or technically correct. My dream is to draw properly.

I live in Provo, Utah, USA. I am currently unemployed, and I enjoy drawing in my spare time. I have hopes of one day being an artist who is worthy of working. I love art. I believe that a picture can tell more than a story, and I love art that says something to the beholder. Each picture I draw has a story or meaning behind it.

I am technically challenged with the rudiments of art. I have always looked at the world in simple shapes and colors. This makes it difficult to do fine art. When I look at the world now I see details, colors, shadows, and shades that I never noticed in my life. I find it extremely complicated to draw them since I have never looked at them before.

I really want to be able to see the world as an artist sees it, and then to be able to draw it. If I learn to see right and draw right, it will be a major accomplishment for me. This is what I want to learn in art.

The Drawing Academy course teaches the basics, and the technical aspects of drawing like the masters. Learning this art form will teach me how to see and draw right. Learning the old techniques should be the basis of every artist’s study.

By winning the Drawing Academy course, I would be able to realize my dream. I could finally learn the old techniques that make up the basics of drawing. This course will teach me to begin to learn what the masters taught.

A vote for me to win would be a vote to make an old man happy. Dreams really can come true. I ask that you, please like my art and vote for me.

The picture displayed is an illustration that I made using Adobe Illustrator. It is titled, Indian Dancer, and depicts the ceremony of the eagle dance. I believe that devotion to our beliefs is important. In every culture, there is a way we communicate with our maker.

A vote for me could turn something as simplistic as this art into something worthy of an educated artist.
