The Artworld Of Elizabeth J White

My name is Joan Elizabeth White, I sign all my art with my middle name Elizabeth J White. I am a self taught artist. I have been drawing and creating since further back than I can recall.

I use to keep my art myself but at the urging of my (now late) sister Tyra I started to show my artwork, she passed away before my first art show from a long battle with Cancer. Since then I would say around 2011 I have really worked hard at getting my art into the public.

I work in different med. Oils, Acrylics, Watercolors, charcoal, pencil and more.

I grew up in the Air Force and saw many different cultures I have painted and drew things from that time, I am inspired by the simple things of life, Children playing, waterfalls, sunrises, sunsets, old barns, farms and so much more and in all my art one hidden object sometimes obvious at least one cross.

I have been Juried into Art festivals. I am always wanting to learn and develop skills as an artist.
