Story and drawing by Andi Dimayuga
Black and White Artist
I am a self-taught artist. I started to appreciate and make art at an early age. But I was using crayons and oil pastel then. Everything was beautiful at the time, I was a child who fancy arts so much. Then I discovered charcoal pencils. It was the best thing. I watched videos how to use it, blending, shading, and such. But as an artist, I battled with originality. I couldn’t draw what’s in my head. I searched for pictures and I draw it. I knew I needed to learn more things. But art is a big part of my life. It is my outlet, my inner self, my inner soul.
