Artworks and story from Lena T.

From a young age, the everyday beauty of life has captivated me. It is my goal as an artist to capture this beauty and tell its story the best I know how. I love to draw people and other living things, especially facial features as they convey much emotion. At sixteen, my art is far from perfect, but I am determined to learn from my mistakes and grow as an artist. My passion for art stems from my desire to bring attention to the beauty of life, and to inspire others to appreciate that beauty as well.

Russian academic art recently captured my attention, and I became fascinated by its principles. It focuses on the technical skill of the artist, with the goal of creating works that are both aesthetically pleasing and emotionally powerful. I feel the art community has lost these traditional fundamentals.

Taking this course would give me the opportunity to hone my artistic skills, allowing me to express my ideas and emotions in a more creative and comprehensive manner. I am eager to gain a deeper grasp of the traditional fundamentals of art, so that I can create with more confidence and precision. Being a teenager, I would especially be thankful for the chance to learn from a team of experienced artists.
