Your progress is amazing! Well done.

Comparing your portrait drawings from before the Drawing Academy course and after, you learned proportions of a human head and proficient ways of rendering tonal values. There is a very apparent improvement in your drawings skills.

In the portrait that is done before the drawing course, there is a very amateur mistake – the eye line is not located in the middle of the head, which makes the top part of the skull smaller than it should be. Also, the pencil hatching skills are not there.

In the second portrait, there is a vast improvement with proportions. Also, your pencil handling skills are much more proficient.

There is one small mistake – one eye is a bit higher than another, which doesn’t spoil the model’s look.
