The best is yet to come

I’ve always felt predisposed to visual art; I dabbled with paint and soon enough fell in love with oils. I delved into it further and studied cast drawing and portrait painting.Color is my inspiration and is what I want to emphasize in any subject I choose to paint; though the subtleties of the human form interest me the most. In my pursuit, to find my artistic identity, I hope to create meaningful work that resonates with and reflects at least a part of me.

I believe art is an evolutionary process, with learning being a journey. I want to breathe life into my work with accurate drawing and capturing the expression with emotion. I want to learn to draw better and with ease.

The Drawing Academy is a great repository of resources and community aimed at improving and expanding the arts.

I am striving to improve my drawing skills, so I can focus on making my art come alive. Winning the Drawing Academy course will push me in the right direction.

I love to see the beauty in otherwise ordinary or even mundane things in life and hope to make other see it as well through my work!
