Hi,
I am Jason Bahaw from the beautiful island of Trinidad and Tobago. I am a self taught artist.
I do oil paintings and acrylic paintings mainly. My work is more impressionist as I use the painting knife mostly.
I do pencil and charcoal drawings, but I have a lot to learn with this medium.
I will like the opportunity to learn more about drawings. My current financial situation do not allow me to pursue the art program, hence my reason for parting in this competition.
I am currently 33 years old, and I started doing art when my dad died when I was a little boy. Art has always been my escape. Art has also allowed me to make some money selling paintings, and doing portraits, and it gave me a head start in pursuing certain educational endeavours.
I want to perfect the skill I have, and be great enough to market my work.
