My name is Menna, 16 years old from Cairo, EGYPT. I love drawing since I was a child but I stopped for 2 years because of an art teacher in my school. He sometimes was making fun of my drawings and questions. Then a dear Syrian friend came to Egypt (my school) her passion was art so she made me return to draw again.
I think I will not find websites that can give me the same knowledge as Drawing Academy. It is an excellent website that every beginner artist should check, I really love that website.
My brother said that I was slowly improving and that my skills are not enough for me he advised me to search on the internet. Then I found the Drawing Academy course I just said “that’s what I want”
I really need to work from imagination I spent years copying, I don’t wanna copy anymore; my dream is to be like the old masters. I wanna have an enough knowledge so that I can practice from imagination.
Some teachers can be very hateful. I’m so glad you have starting drawing again. Don’t give up.
