I’m Suria Jimenez, a graphic designer from conviction but artist by passion, I think drawing was always part of my life, I do it since I was a child. I’m passionate about the details and over time have been perfecting a technique that allowed me to make increasingly drawing more and more detailed. When I “pretend” or do hyperrealism, I am only devote as much time to the drawing I’m doing, which make me very pleased although it has sometimes much harder. I am a stay-at-home mother and struggling artist. My love for art and my desire to help my family has given me the desire to start drawing professionally. I am a self-taught artist besides a few classes in high school, but that was almost 20 years ago. I need to “learn” to draw again. I could use instruction on tips and techniques to make me the artist I really want to be. I cannot afford regular classes and I know with real help it could boost my confidence and art ability to be able to one of the best artist of my time. I started drawing and painting after I retired from my day job. After spending time and money on three courses at drawing at an university extra-mural program, I felt that I have not benefited as much as I deserved – and I have to make a decision. Either I give up drawing altogether, and look for something else to pass my time, or I should forget about learning from these paid teachers and do it on my own. As a result of deciding on self teaching, I purposely chose to learn human portraiture, simply because that I think that that genre of drawing would be the most challenging. I would cut photographs from newspapers and magazines (or any other sources), 5 to 10 pictures a day, and just doodled and copied studiously for a year…

My name is Luca Molnar and I’m a painter from Hungary. I completed my BA studies in Illustration and Graphic Design at the University of Hertfordshire 2 years ago. I was working as an illustrator for 6 years, however about a year ago I decided to leave the advertising world for good and I became a full time painter.
