My mother, the first face a I saw

My name is Belizeur(Beli), I am a Haitian who immigrated to Dominican republic (my parents did, I had to come with them). I live in Dominican republic since I was 8.

I always wanted to draw but never had time or my parents and other people would always say: “You can’t eat with art!” That was really choking for me.

Everything started when I was 23; I started working in a school while I was in a college and then I had to draw some posters (which was really good) and got in love with it, while I was working and studying, I tried to make time to practice everything I can, mostly portraits. Drawing make me happy even with all the things I have to do.

Since I learn by my self is really hard to learn anatomy and complete body drawing.

I think Drawing Academy is a great source for learning everything I want for now and I will be really grateful with this prize.

I am not the best, if there is one thing that I want people yo vote for me is my willing to learn.
