From Novice to Amateur, headed toward Master
My skills prior to The Drawing Academy were limited due to my lack of understanding of light and shadow and creating a 3 dimensional space on a 2 dimensional platform.
Now I have a better grasp on light and shadow. Creating 3 dimensional space on a 2 dimensional platform utilizing the one, two and 3 point perspectives has increased my level of art.
What this knowledge means to my life is a greater understanding of how we ‘see’ THRU our eyes rather than with our eyes. The benefit of understanding how we ‘see’ is a matter of drawing from our imagination.
I would most definitely recommend The Drawing Academy course to other art students. This course has a plethora of information that helps each student succeed and the opportunity to work at your own pace.
As an added bonus, the instructors are available to help give constructive criticism.
The only critique I have of the course is the lack of a live chat box. Rather than email and wait for reply, it would be nice to have live communication.
