Best sketching practices
I was recommended this course by my friend Pragya Bhatnagar. Once I started watching Drawing Academy video lessons, it became apparent how useful the lessons were and how effortless the drawing becomes if you follow them honestly with passion.
Sketching faces has been my passion for a long time, and I could copy faces well. But there was no finesse in that. It was disorganised and I only strove for resemblance which did not come for me. But since I saw the drawing academy videos I understood what my drawing lacked. There was too much emphasis on resemblance without having the basic underlying structure.
The course simplified things for me and introduced me to the basics of sketching which I never knew. I have learned to sketch neatly without using erasers and without smudging. Now my pencil goes much lighter and without going in every direction. The resemblance comes effortlessly.
Now I am on to trying different media for sketching and different effects. Its like a whole new world has opened up for me and the previous restrictions and limitations are gone.
I would definitely recommend this course to anyone who has a passion for drawing.
