I have now completed all the Drawing Academy assignments. Thank you very much.

I have found the course not only informative but it has also shown me the reasons for my frustration in my art work, knowing that something was wrong but not knowing exactly what it was and how to correct the mistakes. You have given me the knowledge as well as the confidence that I certainly did not have prior to doing your course. I feel that I have improved in all aspects of my art. When painting I now have the confidence to draw on the canvas with a paint brush and am able to get the drawing in without being terrified of what I was producing.

As a child I longed to study art but was unable to do so. In my forties my youngest son, age 10 years at the time, spoke to his art teacher about me. She told him what to buy for me with the instructions on how I was to start. He went out, spending his pocket money saved for this purpose and bought the equipment. On presenting it to me he took my left hand, put a tube of ointment into it and told me to draw. I still have that first drawing.

Now after 25 years since that first drawing, I have at last been able to do the study that I have so longed to do. Thank you very, very much. I must now keep drawing as well as painting on a regular basis. My little travel sketch book goes every where with me even into the kitchen where I draw while waiting for the food to cook.

At my age a career in art is not going to happen. I draw and paint for the love of creating and the deep satisfaction that it gives me. I have recently helped friends who seeing me drawing and painting, have asked for help to get started. I have worked with them and strongly recommended that they enrol with the Drawing Academy course. I also strongly recommend that any one, no matter how old they may be, if they have always longed to create art work regardless of any negative statements from parents as children they go ahead and enrol with the Academy, they will never regret it.
