A scream of freedom

My name is Veljko Vucenovic. I’m a beginner artist from Serbia.

I think art is very important for the society, it’s the reflection of it. It’s something that can enlighten us and help us understand people and ourselves.

I’m really fond of realistic drawing. I want to be able to draw like the old masters. I’m into portraiture and figure drawing.

I saw many videos from Drawing Academy on YouTube and felt that I can learn a lot from its lessons.

I even paint in oils and try to learn by copying the old masters such as Van Gogh, Vermeer and Da Vinci. I’ve been told that that’s a good way to learn painting.
