Wanting to Improve my Drawing Skills

Received College diploma in Art. Aspiring Drawing Academy student with a life long interest in Art, but wants to (re)learn the fundamentals of drawing. I have been lurking through this website for quite some time, and have been very impressed with what I have seen on here. If selected for membership, I hope to take full advantage of what the academy has to offer.

My challenge is perfectionism. High expectations or perhaps unattainable standards I had placed upon myself at a deeper conscious level, I became discouraged, and stopped drawing because I thought I would never overcome some milestones in technicalities and struggles with certain elements of drawing, and painting was the same problem. I was frustrated with my drawing attempts, because I wanted them to look convincing and bring me satisfaction. I hope to overcome this with the membership.
