Artwork and story from Tayabah
My name is Tayabah, and I am someone who is discovering the world of art through drawing and painting. I did not grow up as a trained artist, but over time I realised that creating art gives me a sense of peace, focus, and purpose. It allows me to express emotions and experiences that are difficult to explain with words alone.
Art has become an important part of my life because it helps me slow down and observe the world differently. Even simple sketches or studies feel meaningful to me because they represent growth, patience, and self-expression. Every drawing teaches me something new, not only about art but also about myself.
One of the biggest challenges I face is technique. I often struggle to translate the ideas in my imagination onto paper in the way I truly want. Sometimes I feel discouraged when I compare my work to experienced artists, but instead of giving up, it motivates me to keep learning and improving.
I want to learn strong artistic foundations, especially classical drawing techniques, anatomy, shading, composition, and how to create depth and emotion in artwork. I believe mastering the basics is essential for becoming a skilled and confident artist.
What I admire most about the Drawing Academy is its dedication to traditional artistic training and professional guidance. The Academy represents discipline, knowledge, and artistic excellence, and I believe learning there would help me develop not only technical skills but also confidence in my creative abilities.
Winning this Academy course would be an incredible opportunity for me because it would give me access to education and mentorship that could completely transform my artistic path. As a beginner, I know how valuable proper guidance can be, and I am ready to dedicate myself fully to learning.
People should vote for me because I am passionate, determined, and willing to work hard. I may not be the most advanced artist entering this competition, but I have genuine love for art and a strong desire to grow. I hope my story can inspire other beginners to believe that every artist starts somewhere, and that passion and persistence truly matter.
