I am currently a graphic designer and want to move into the fine art. When I was very young I decided to pursue a career in art, but never had a chance to go though proper drawing and painting education. I was following some online videos and reading books on how to draw up until this year. Earlier this year I had an unexpected encounter with art. This experience was absolutely overwhelming and incredibly meaningful to me and was far greater than any other experience that I ever got throughout my working career. After that I felt very lost and confused and did not have the same passion for what I do for living. I thought about this a lot and talked to my friends and family about this experience and came to the conclusion that I want devote myself to art, despite barely having any artistic experience.
I researched many drawing courses on the Internet and found that the Drawing Academy will satisfy my needs because I can study when time permits and have full support from the Academy tutors. What I need is someone with knowledge and experience to guide me thorough drawing topics and check my artworks to tell what to improve and how.
Winning this competition will mean the whole world for me! I want to study drawing and improve my skills because drawing is the most important part of visual arts. When I become good at drawing, my painting skills will improve as well.
