I need to become the master
Story from Dante Dore
Hello, my name is Dante Dore and I am a student and scholar who has been practicing art in its many forms for nearly 20 years, however during these past few years I found myself lost and veered off the path of artistic enrichment. But it is a newfound inspiration that has brought me back and a newfound passion that I have found within the Drawing Academy to continue my journey.
When it comes to Art I have always found that it takes the number one spot in my life as it is creativity that moves me forward and allows me to gain inspiration from anything I see or even hear giving me an ever-active eye for finding both the beauty and horror of everyday life which in turn influence the things I create. However such periods of inspiration also come with great challenges and the burden of bringing that wonderful thing in your mind to life on paper. For me, my challenges have always been rooted in impatience, whether due to skill or even proportions as for me, accuracy is one of the most important elements to me as an artist. These challenges while bothersome and stagnant show me that no matter how long you practice there’s still much more to learn and that improvement never stops.
As an artist not tied to any medium in particular there’s so much I have sought to learn across all genres and styles of Art, styles that I feel would help me capture and express my vision most deeply like the old masters. I want to learn how to create beautiful and grand works in stunning detail realistically and accurately, I want to learn proper techniques and ways to memorize not only anatomy but the very world around me from a variety of perspectives and become my own master at depicting the world around me and how I feel about it. This is why I decided to enter the Drawing Academy as I feel that by starting from scratch and relearning the basics only then can I move forward past my blockages and fears of insecurity as an artist. From what I’ve seen so far I believe that the Drawing Academy can give me much more discipline, structure, and encouragement to continue practicing.
Winning the Drawing Academy course can make these aspirations much more real for me and provide the resources I need to become the master I wish to be. In the end, I feel that people should vote for me not only due to my lifelong passion for the arts but also because of my mission, and my drive to succeed despite the unfavorable odds. In voting for me, one would be voting for my vision, my passion, and my will to succeed and gift me the ability to continue my studies and allow me to become much greater than my current self.
