I’m more or less a self taught artist. I’m studying Art and a bunch of other creative subjects at sicth form, but I haven’t gone to art school or been tutored so I think I probably fall under the self-taught umbrella, idk.
Like everyone else applying for this membership I’ve been drawing for as long as I can remember, it just comes automatically to me. I draw for about 2 hours each day, and I practice Urban sketching in particular.
I would really appreciate a membership as I am not at all confident in painting with oils or acrylics, or using colour generally.
I feel like this is holding me back, as I am full of ideas, but I feel that I don’t have the requisite technical skills to achieve them.
