I am a 70 year old retired economist. I have loved to draw and paint but this was not taught in my youth and I simply had to draw on my own. Since retirement I have taken up watercolor but try to both draw and paint as often as possible. I love the old masters focus of the drawing academy. I took one watercolor painting workshop from someone who does very realistic watercolors but we did not work on the drawing aspect at all. I try to do as much of a complete drawing as possible before I paint and work at it but I would like to improve and I know I have a long way to go. And that is why people should vote for me.
