I have been drawing on and off for years. I like to paint but the Drawing Academy is correct. You must draw before you can paint well. The masters had the right idea. While I like modern art, you have to master drawing to be considered a true artist. My hope is to achieve some level of proficiency so I can draw from life and memory.
