My art story

I have been drawing and painting for many years, but my work was based on copying from photos. I always knew that it should be a better way to create my own art, yet my drawing skills were not good enough to draw from life or imagination. It was taking me a lot of time to find a photo to draw from, and it was never the image I was looking for. So, I decided that I have to find the right art course where I could learn how to draw anything I want.

When I found the Drawing Academy I was pleasantly surprised by its quality and low cost. It offers so much, including a lifetime membership and personal support by tutors.

After enrolling in the Drawing Academy course, I spent several months watching video lessons and doing drawing exercises. I also read bonus books and asked tutors question; they were always prompt with their helpful feedback.

I have learned many new things about drawing and am very pleased with improvement of my art skills. Although I use photo references from time to time, I do not copy anymore, but modify those images and apply drawing techniques that I did not use before. I am confident that with time I will be able to draw skillfully whatever I think of or imagine without photos.

I have also learned a human anatomy for artists and now can include people into my artworks; this is a great progress for me!

I recommend the Drawing Academy course to all artists who want to draw professionally and master their art.
