I’m 73, but learning

I love the Drawing Academy course. I have drawn things for paintings, but only to paint what I see. That’s my art background!

Thank you

Feedback from Vladimir London, Drawing Academy tutor

Dear Sue,

Thank you very much for your artworks.

I really admire your passion for art and glad that you found the Drawing Academy course helpful.

Your painting is beautiful and reminds me still-life of the 18th century great masters.

Your constructive drawing of vases is very good; you grasped the principles of perspective well.

Also, there is a way you can instantly improve your drawings – render tonal values with a better sharpened pencil, so marks would be finer and more accurate. Every pencil stroke is like a word in a poem; applying strokes with more care will greatly influence the end result.

Once again, thank you for your wonderful artworks.

Kind regards,
Vladimir London
