I have been an artist ever since I can remember. I attended Mastbaum Vocational High School in Philadelphia where I studied commercial art. After 4 years in the USAF I was employed by General Electric Missile & Space Division in Valley Forge Pa. as a publications specialist. Eventually I was named as Art Director for the Missile & Space Division’s magazine, “Challenge”. After 20 years with GE I owned a restaurant for 20 years. I continued doing freelance art work after I retired. Too busy earning a living I never had time to become proficient in fine art.

Although I am 82 years old I am still active and now have time to learn more in painting. I have done portraits for friends and family but I would like to improve my skills.

Below is a pastel portrait of my brother, who celebrated his 80th birthday in January of this year.

I would like to thank in advance anyone who might vote for me to win the Drawing Academy course. Your vote will not be wasted.
THANK YOU
